For the third edition of Expo Flor Ecuador, the organizers were determined to make it grander than ever. The National Association of Flower Producers and Exporters of Ecuador, Expoflores, envisioned a larger Expo for 2024—more space, more booths, more opportunities, more color, more magic, and stronger connections.
However, there was one challenge: the venue wasn’t big enough for the ambitious plan. But that didn’t stop them.
In preparation for this magnificent event, Expoflores set up a 6,000 m² industrial tent to double the fairgrounds at the Metropolitan Convention Center in Quito—a feat never before attempted in Ecuador. The result? Over 11,000 m² of breathtaking floral displays, making it the largest expo ever held in the country.
More than 3,000 people were involved in the entire assembly process for Expo Flor Ecuador 2024. This included the team responsible for building the tent, experts managing air conditioning, staff marking the aisles, and hundreds of constructors, designers, and florists who came together to create 113 stunning booths. It was a massive collaborative effort by professionals who brought to life the biggest, brightest, and boldest flower trade show Ecuador had ever seen.
